Do Now 9/29
An editorial is relating to the commissioning or preparing of material for publication of the editor's work. In the past, my teachers have told me the Wikipedia is not a reliable source of information because other people in the world can put false facts on the website. Most teacher don't mind if you use Wikipedia, maybe it has to be unknowingly. The teachers may not care about which websites are used because they just want the report done. Others don't want you to use Wikipedia due to what they have heard in the past. Recently, I have not asked why not in the past, but soon I might. My thoughts about Wikipedia have not changed because I always felt that Wikipedia was a reliable source. I'd just like to add that Wikipedia, in no way at all is a bad website for research, I feel as if it is one of the best websites to use, especially for research reports.

- The Virginia firm is now working on a supposed radar gun with the ability to detect if the person driving a vehicle is texting while driving.
- This new invention would be on the best improvements to protect the innocent drivers from possible harm by distracted drivers.
- However, the problem with this radar gun is that it isn't able to tell between a texting passenger or a texting driver, it reads the radio waves that are sent off from a vehicle when a message is sent.
- This radar gun isn't ready for use though it still needs legal approvement, and needs to have a willing law enforcement to take in the creation

One of the most important things in life is having a good education. From the time you are a small child to the time you are an adult you have some sort of education traveling with you. Everything you learn in life is going to help you down the road no doubt. Sometimes there are classes that you find may never help you in the future, and others you feel will help you thrive in the near future or long term down the road. In most kids, they find gym to be their favorite class, it is for me that's for sure.
Mr. Vaccaro, is a gym teacher at the Wood-Ridge Jr./Sr. High School. He teaches physical education, driver's education, and health. He is very friendly, nonchalant teacher and personally one of my favorite teachers. He also has been married and has a kid, he was formerly a personal trainer and since coming to the school he has been the coach of the track and field team. When I first started gym class with Mr. Vaccaro I expected to learn the proper way to do certain workouts, such as working out my triceps and biceps. Up to this date I have learned the correct rules of many sports, learned where to workout and how to workout that muscle, and how to enjoy the time I have in gym class. The grading policy for his gym class is 40% performance based, 40% informal assessments, and 20% formal assessments.
Some interesting features about Mr. Vaccaro's class are that he is usually lenient, but if you do something inappropriate or wrong he will get on your case. Mr. Vaccaro's class doesn't usually go on field trips, however when you are in his class you are having fun the whole time. I like running the mile around the track because it builds cardio and endurance that your body stores for future references. Some technology that is used in class is how to correctly work a machine or use certain exercises for the right reasons. Mr. Vaccaro's class is a great experience and I enjoy it a lot!

Educational Technology and Copyright Law
Copyright, if not used correctly, is a dangerous and tricky on the web or anywhere overall. If you are using a copyrighted name or logo that is already being used, the person who own the name or logo can fine you or overall shut down you company or website. However there are some ways that you can use a copyrighted logo or name. If you are using the name for you're brand new website and you ask permission from the person who originally own the name and they say "yes" them you are allowed to use the name. Lastly, if you are using the name for educational purposes then you get permission that is okay as well.http://teachamazing.com/educational-technology-and-copyright-law/
