Bigelow Aerospace Creates Expandable Space Homes that could Take Us to Mars

 



  • Robert Bigelow, owner of Bigelow Aerospace, received the license to expandable material in the 1990s from NASA. They dished the idea because they didn't have the right materials to make the product a reality
  • Bigelow however, after many years of work, has finally created the first expandable space homes that are in the process of becoming the next big breakthrough.
  • The expandable home costs $17.8 million per home, however NASA spends nearly double that currently.
  • Bigelow is on the right track, and sooner rather than later, we could saw these homes in action.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk Reveals Works on a Self-Driving Bus


  • Musk told Bloomberg in a meeting in Norway that he's working on something that's not completely a bus but a type of vehicle that will solve the density problem in inner city solutions
  • This wouldn't out of the normal since Musk is already going to space and had the Tesla already in place for another max selling.
  • Musk said that this new unidentified vehicle could not just take people to their respective bus stops, but rather all the way to their final destinations.

Zuckerberg's Oculus has plans to bring computers to your glasses




  • CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, told reporters that Oculus has had a positive response and that he plans on moving further into the future.
  • Zuckerberg wants to bring the Oculus program to a pair of glasses in order to shoot into the future.
  • Although the product seems intriguing, Zuckerberg believes that sales at first are going to be slow,
  • The product right now is looking at a staggering amount of $500, but Zuckerberg believes the price will get lower.

Xbox Willing to Cross Network Play with Other Game Consoles

  • Cross-network support would allow Xbox to engage in multiplayer gaming with players from Playstation and Steam.
  • The game consoles are still waiting for permission from Sony in order to create the network

  • Developers should find gamers to be "very receptive" to the cross-network play. Which in the end could make Xbox and Playstation significantly more popular.

Nike Introduces HyperAdapt 1.0 to the Public



  • The HyperAdapt 1.0 is a self-lacing system that is triggered when you place your foot inside the shoe. 
  • There is a sensor underneath the heel padding, once your heal triggers the sensor, the laces tighten automatically. Other sensors on the side adjust the fit of the shoe.
  • Nike designer sees the HyperAdapt as a perfect solution for athletic competitions, so that no laces become loose or untie anymore.

Rythm Dreem claims to be first wearable that improves sleep quality


  •  The Dreem doubles as a brainwave-reading machine, and operates as an EEG-measuring device.
  • The machine measures breathing rhythms and brain activity while you sleep.
  • It also can predict what stage of sleep you're in as well.
  • The Dreem syncs with Android and Iphone for sleep data.
  • It will be sold at a starting price of $349

Super Bowl 50 was the most "connected" Super Bowl in history





  • EyeVision 360 uses 36 cameras capable of giving viewers a 360-degree view of the action. Instant replays will be able to “freeze” a play and examine it from all sides before returning to the action. Fans will also be able to see the game from players’ perspectives, thanks to 16 cameras housed in pylons—a technology less than a year old—all of them embedded with microphones to give the game’s audio a richer, more natural feel.
